Let’s meet the people & pooches behind Ollie’s Petcare. It’s a family run business, with myself Jonathan running the majority of the day to day activities including dog walking & pet sitting visits. Then there is my partner Thomas who helps out and gets stuck in when he can.
Then of course there is the most important canine members of our team – our dachshunds Ollie, Penny & Charlie. Ollie, who our business is named after is ‘Head Treat Tester’; and his sisters Penny, ‘Chief Toy Analyst’ – she likes to squeak test everything, plus little Charlie who’s our ‘Senior Snuggler’!
Together we run Ollie’s Petcare 7 days a week, 365 days a year, come rain or shine. =) You can stay up to date with all our team across our social networks below. Get your daily fix of cute dogs & see what we get up to on a daily basis with Ollie’s Petcare!

Meet Jonathan...
Role: Daily Operations / Owner
Meet Jonathan - the founder, owner & daily operator of Ollie's Petcare & Boutique. Jonathan loves all dogs & animals! He has grown up with many family pets from a young age - including fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, cats, rabbits & dogs; and is used to handling them all. Back in 2010 - when he got the chance to change his career direction he jumped at the opportunity and started Ollie's Petcare after getting inspiration from a little sausage dog named Ollie that joined the family!
Ollie was quickly joined by Penny and Charlie and all can be found daily in the local parks around Dublin or Meath for walks. He spends his days, when not out in the parks, either doing admin in the office (...it has to be done!) or rushing to the post office sending the pooches of Ireland & further afield top notch goodies & treats from our website Ollie's Pet Boutique!
Ollie was quickly joined by Penny and Charlie and all can be found daily in the local parks around Dublin or Meath for walks. Role: Customer Care & Operations
Meet Thomas - the backbone of Ollie's Petcare! Thomas keeps a low profile but is the main support behind the scenes in the daily operations of the business. It couldnt happen with out him!
Thomas is a fellow dog lover and hooman #2 to Ollie, Penny & Charlie the miniature dachshunds! Thomas has also grown up from a young age with pets in the his family. Dogs have always been part of his life! He hopes one day the sausages will have an adopted 'bigger' brother or sister to keep them in line!
Day to day Thomas can be found answering some of our business emails and keeping an eye on our social accounts - feel free to tweet him, message him on Instagram or drop him an email!

He is full of mischief and loved nothing more than annoying his little sister Penny or more recently than having a midday nap! Though food is always at the top of his list of favourite things!
When Ollie was just a little cocktail sausage and attending daycare, training and socialisation classes, we realised there was an obvious lack of services in the Dublin area for dog owners. After doing some research Ollie inspired the beginning of what is now Ollie's Petcare!
He is full of mischief and loved nothing more than annoying his little sister Penny or more recently than having a midday nap! Though food is always at the top of his list of favourite things!

Meet Penny...
Role: Chief Toy Analyst/Squeaky TesterLoves: Her Ball & fetch.
Hates: Anyone touching her paws.
Meet Penny - Ollie's little sister and also a cheeky sausage dog. Penny joined our family in September 2013 - she has recenly just celebrated her tenth birthday - July 2023.
She's a typical little dachshund - very cheeky, energetic, loyal and oh so lovable! She loves joining us for walks with her favourite pal - her ball. =) She may be a girl but she has no hesitation bounding into the mucky puddles and racing thought the rain after that ball!
Penny is a very relaxed little girl and loves to welcome all our furry guests that stay over or join us on our walks. She leaves the treat testing to Ollie while she prefers to try out all the new toys that arrive in the boutique - she's our 'chief toy analyst' - and she does a pawtastic job!

Meet Charlie...
Role: Senior SnugglerLoves: A scratch of her bum
Hates: Being Cold. Rain.
Charlie is our third family dog and also another dachshund - well you can't just have 1 or 2! =) Charlie joined our gang in April 2019 in some what of a whirlwind. She's a very confident little girl and marched into all our lifes and just took over - it the best way possible!
She gets on great with her brother & sister and has a BIG soft spot for Ollie in particular, who she annoys (...fondly!) on a daily basis. She joins Penny on our daily walks and loves nothing more than to chase & play with all her furpals - of which she has many!
Charlie also helps out behind the scenes in the business with some essential admin duties - she gives the best snuggles, which is always a welcome distractiion - just watch out for that cold nose!
